Lecture Summary:

This programme is aimed at mixed and small animal practitioners who would like to refresh and improve their knowledge of canine medicine.

The approach that will be taken is to describe the presentation of a case and then discuss step by step the diagnostic process from the easiest tests to the most complex procedures with the options for patient stabilisation as this process is happening.

The value of empirical therapy and its limitations will be described where appropriate.

Each talk will be well illustrated and backed up with clear notes and there will be some use of anonymous interactive voting with ample time for interaction with the presenter.
